SPCFA provides flexible, value-added logistics services that exceed the boundaries of transportation and distribution. SPCFA acts as an integrator of material and transportation management services and information in order to provide custom solutions for our clients. SPCFA manages large-scale logistics operations for major Chinese players in numerous industries.

Projects Completed

In 1997, SPCFA handled the import of machinery and equipment as well as 1,558 TEU¡¯s for the third stage of the YiZheng Chemical Fiber project.

In 1998-1998, SPCFA efficiently handled cargo forwarding and delivery of import equipment for supplementary facilities of the Pudong International Airport.¡ªA Key construction project for the city of Shanghai. During this project, SPCFA set a new record for incurring no losses or damages during the transfer of equipment valued at over RMB 13.5 billion yuan and an additional RMB 8.7 billion yuan of import and export cargo.

In 1999, SPCFA acquired agency status with COSCO Shanghai International Freight Co., Ltd., to arrange the inland delivery of imported equipment in sets to be used in the Three Gorges power plant.

In 1999, SPCFA was responsible for the handling of 216 units of the Shanghai Metro train compartments, imported from Germany by Shanghai Metro Co. Ltd.

In 1999-2000, SPCFA undertook the delivery of import equipment for both the Qinshan nuclear power plant (3rd Stage) and the Guangdong Ling¡¯ao nuclear power plant.

In December 2002, SPCFA succeeded in the smooth delivery of two sets of diesel engines manufactured by Shanghai Hudong Ship Manufacturing Co. for export to Singapore. The two engines measured 12.2 x 6.2 x 9.9 meters, each weighed 427 tons, with a total volume of 748 cubic meters.

In March 2001, SPCFA undertook the freight forwarding and delivery of import facilities for both the APEC meeting and the construction materials for the Shanghai Pudong Transit Building.

In May 2001, SPCFA was responsible for the cargo forwarding and delivery of import equipment and chemical material for BASF. SPCFA has just extended its contract with BASF for an additional two years of service.

In July 2001, SPCFA bid successfully for the role of sole forwarding agent for the inland transport project of the Shanghai Magnetically Levitated Train Project. With this contract SPCFA undertook customs declaration and clearance, port handling, container unloading and transport, heavy lift transport and construction site delivery.
